Brilliant FUNAAB graduate gets selected in the United States to participate in a paid traineeship at CDC.

A young and brilliant Nigerian lady, identified as Yetunde Fadipe, has made another progress and achievement after being selected as one of the five students across United States to participate in a paid traineeship.

Yetunde Fadipe is a graduate of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Nigeria. She graduated from the department of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2018.

Yetunde later got a Masters’ scholarship to study Nutrition (Public Health Nutrition Concentration) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Narrating her story through her LinkedIn handle, Yetunde wrote that; “I am really excited to have been selected as one of the five students across United States to participate in the paid traineeship from the Association of State Public Health Nutritionists and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity (DNPAO) this summer which I will be working with the Utah Department of Health.”

She narrated further that; “This eight weeks traineeship will teach the competencies needed for entry-level public health professional occupations related to nutrition and physical activity.”
