A video is making the rounds on social media where a media personality identifed as Lerinnic on TikTok refers to Grammy award winner Burnaboy as the biggest fraud and the most uninspiring artiste in Nigeria.
This reaction from the presenter comes days after Burnaboy during an interview with an Oyibo interviewer on the Global stage said the Afrobeats as a music genre is nothing as it lacks substance while adding that he has created his own genre known as Afro Fusion.
Recall that Burnaboy has started making headlines following the release of his 7th studio album, I Told Them that sends mixed signals, while some hail the singer, others rated the album as his worst ever.

However, TikToker Lerinnic in the trending video berated Burnaboy for thrashing Afrobeats of which he has been profiting from for years.
Speaking further, the lady said Burnaboy brand is built on Pan-African activisim ideology copied from Afrobeats pioneer Fela.
The lady added that whenever these is social-political turmoil in Nigeria or Africa, it’s either Burnaboy stays quiet or mocks Nigerians when he speaks up which has contributed to no progress.
The presenter added that it is wrong for Burnaboy to shit on a movement built by his pioneers while stating that tons of people work hard to get the global recognition and respect Afrobeats has now which Burnaboy has benefited from.
She noted that instead of Burnaboy to push Afrobeats further now that he is a top artiste from Africa, he is now tearing it down.

Media personality Lerinnic said that Wizkid and Davido are well-known for helping upcoming artistes unlike Burnaboy who will shit on other artistes and by extension makes him the most uninspiring artiste in Nigeria.
