Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has taken to social media to narrate her own ordeal about miscarriage while reacting to the trending video of actress Debbie Shokoya.
In the video making the rounds online, Debbi Shokoya recounts going through a challenging period following the loss of her pregnancy at 8 months.
Debbie Shokoya goes teary as she revealed that her pregnancy was widely known by her loved ones, even to the point of expectation of returning with her newborn. Tragically, unforeseen circumstances arose, resulting in a miscarriage.
While engaging the video of Debbi Shokoya via the comment section, actress Scarlet Gomez who is well known for her role in the movie “Wura” said that she has been in the same scenario and by extension prays to God to grant her the strength she needs so that she can smile again.
Scarlet said that she was pregnant for 9 months, and gave birth to a boy who later died. She added that she never had the opportunity to see him or carried him.
In her words; “Carried mine for 9 months even gave birth to him. Never saw or carried him . Till date don’t know what he looked like. You are not alone sis ! It’s not easy at all. GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH YOU NEED AND YOU WILL SMILE AGAIN ❤️.”
