Popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha professionally known as Basketmouth in a post on social media thanks award-wining Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid for giving him an early birthday gift.
The 43-year-old stand up comedian and actor, who would be turning 44 on September 14, received a special package from Wizkid.
Basketmouth took to his Twitter account on Saturday to make this known as he said that he did not know the Starboy would remember the date not to talk of sending him something.
This comes after Wizkid disclosed that he’s going to release a new song titled “Bad to me” on September 14th 2022, a track off his next album, More Love Less Ego (MLLE).
Basketmouth in his tweet thanked the “Essence” crooner for not being ‘bad to me’ which is also the title of the new song.
The comedian tweeted; “Basket Mouth @basket_mouth I didn’t think you’ll remember my birthday (Sept 14th) talk less of giving me this gift. @wizkidayo thanks for not being ‘BAD TO ME’ 🙏🏾.”
