Everybody is guilty in that conversation, don’t throw it on Wiz – Rapper Vector reacts to Wizkid’s criticism of rap (Video)

Popular Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun David professionally known as e, Vector Tha Viper in a recent interview drops his hot take while reacting to Wizkid’s criticism of rap. 

Recall few days ago, Grammy award-winner, Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun got social media buzzing during an interview with a British magazine as he berated Nigerian rappers. 

The “Essence” crooner argued for the dominance of Afrobeats over rap music genre and further addressed it as being dead and boring.

However Wizkid statement wasn’t welcomed by many Nigerian rappers as they took to their social media pages where they vent their anger of the singer. Also famous rapper, MI Abaga showered encomium on his colleagues noting that the rap music genre is winning and is on the rise.

Vector, in an interview with Hip TV, stated that it is disrespectful to talk down on where people make their daily living.

He said that it is understandable for someone whose genre is Pop to consider the rap genre dead, since their yardsticks of evaluation differ.

According to him, everybody is guilty about what WizKid said since those who are supposed to be patronizing the genre are not doing so, but had suddenly began paying attention to it now that it’s been criticized.
