“Fela would have love to see this” – Video of Oyinbo people singing joro jara joro “Zombie” captures the hearts of many (Watch)

A video of some set of Oyinbo people who gathered themselves together and have fun by singing “Joro Jara Joro” off the album “Zombie” by the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti has surfaced online and by extension generated overwhelming reactions among netizens.

Recall that the the album, Zombie was released by Fela Anikulapo Kuti the year 1977, that is 46 years ago.

Note that the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti has been regarded as the pioneer of Afrobeats and is being study in filmmaking across Universities and Colleges across the world.

Due to his immense contribution to music in Africa, Fela Anikulapo Kuti at the height of his popularity, he was referred to as one of Africa’s most “challenging and charismatic music performers”.

However, in the video making the rounds online, the Oyinbo people were seen singing Fela Anikulapo song “Joro Jara Joro” of the album “Zombie” that was released 46-years ago with so much enthusiasm as they vibe so hard to it as if they understand the language in an environment that oozes absolutely nothing but positive energy.
