Guinness World Record has honoured popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci with another amazing award of all time after breaking a new record.
Recall on June 13th 2023 Intel Region reported that Guinness World Records announced Chef Hilda Baci as the longest cooking individual following her cookathon.
Although Hilda Baci who hails from Akwa Ibom State cooked for 100 hours 40mins, Guinness World Records in a tweet disclosed that Hilda breaks the record with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.
The tweet goes; “After reviewing all the footage, we’re delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual) 💫 Watch the video to find out the official time we’ve awarded Hilda and read the full explanation below 👇.’
However, in a latest tweet, Guinness World Records tweeted that the above tweet where they announced Hilda Baci as the longest-cooking individual is the best-performing tweet in the history of the company on Twitter since they started in 2008.
The tweet has 25.8 million news feeds reached, 85.8k retweets, 19.2k quotes, 217.2k likes, and 5,4111 bookmarks.
Guinness World Records via verified Twitter handle tweeted; “yeah, so this is our best performing tweet of all time with nearly 25 million news feeds reached 🤯.”

The Guinness World Records (GWR) had earlier stated that the cook-a-thon of the newly awarded Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci, gained so much traction that its website crashed for two days while the event was ongoing.
