Headies award 2022: Ladipoe reacts as his hit single “Feeling” didn’t get to the “Song of the Year” category

Popular Nigerian rapper, Ladipoe has taken to social media to react as his hit song “Feeling” featuring Buju didn’t get nominated for the 2022 Headies award.
Recall Intel Region reported that Headies is one of the trending conversations on the social media platform as the organizers of the the prestigious award releases the list of nominees yesterday, May 24th.
The 15th edition of Headies award is scheduled to hold on the Saturday, the 2nd of July 2022 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, U.S.A.

However, Ladipoe in a short tweet shared via his official Twitter handle wondered why his hit song “Feeling” didn’t make it to the Headies award song of the year category that include songs from Wizkid, Fireboy, Adekunle Gold among others.
Ladipoe tweeted; “Feeling” not Song of the Year.”

Also Nigerian singer, Cheque lamented over the fact that Headies didn’t nominate any of his songs for the 2022 Headies Award.
He tweeted; “Another year and the HEAdIES fails to recognize my music in the Rap category, while melodic rappers like Durk and Roddy are idolized in the rap scene worldwide That’s why HiPhop has remained Stagnant HERE but It’s Calm I will still be dropping HiTs even if I don’t get my Flowers.”
