New details have emerged as regards the tragic story surrounding the death of Kashy, who was the CEO of CashNation Entertainment, the record label of singer Barry Jhay.

On Sunday March 7th, 2021, news broke that Kashy Godson, CashNation Entertainment Boss, committed suicide by jumping from a balcony in Ghana.
However Barry Jhay, a Headies-winning Nigerian artist and the frontline artist of the label confirmed he had a fight with his boss and he was arrested in Ghana, in connection to the death of Godson.
A friend of the late Kashy identified as Sir Kuti, revealed that although Barry and Kashy had a fight, Kashy was remorseful and he told Barry he loved him.

As at this moment singer Barry Jhay has reportedly arrested in Ghana in connection to the death of his label boss Kashy.
