Popular Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has sparked a nationwide debate among internet users following a hot take he drops about relationship.
According to Deyemi Okanlawon, serious relationship is not meant for those they are not financially buoyant as he noted that the best thing to do is to take a break from it.

Speaking further, Deyemi Okanlawon who recently celebrated 10th wedding anniversary with his wife, Damilola said that everyone is free to love and date anyone at a particular stage in life but men and women should focus on building themselves to become financially buoyant then give relationship a chance.
Deyemi Okanlawon tweeted; “If you’re not yet financially buoyant perhaps it is wise take a break from “serious” relationship and focus on building yourself… this message from the federal association of common sense is for men & women #openletter #butwhatdoiknow.
He added; “Everyone should feel free to love and date anyone at any time/stage of their lives if they so choose… but perhaps for more serious (intentional, committed) relationships you may want to approach things slightly different? 💁♀️.”
