Award-Winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid in a recent statement sheds more light on why music is a universal language.
Wizkid, an Afrobeats singer who is a father of four made this known during his interview with budding USA media personality, Jazzy as he talks about his music.
This coming days after Wizkid received several backlashes from fans after he missed his concerts in Ghana and Abidjan respectively, and stood thousands of concertgoers.

Although Wizkid who decided to switch his hairstyle up did tender an apology about not showing up in Ghana but failed to say a word to the people of Abidjan.
In the interview with Jazzy, the singer was asked how he thinks his music has been able to touch people around the world, although they may not understand it.
In response, Wizkid defines music as “a universal language, and what you feel in your soul.”
Confirming what Wizkid said, Jazzy said that he is a fan of Afrobeats and there are many of them who vibe to it but do not understand the lyrics and the messages it passed.
