Superstar Afrobeats singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido in a latest post on social media expresses shock as Tribunal strikes out petition seeking Tinubu’s disqualification.
#PEPTJudgement is one of the trending conversations online as the presidential election petitions tribunal (PEPT) delivers judgment at the Court of Appeal Complex located in the Three Arms Zone, Shehu Shagari Way, Central Business District of Abuja today, September 6th 2023.
So far today, the Tribunal strikes out petition challenging the qualification of President Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.

The Presidential Election Petitions Court has held that the Labour Pary (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, failed to specify how they scored the majority of lawful votes in the February 25 presidential election.
The Tribunal further dismisses Peter Obi’s 25% FCT votes claim, says that Abuja resident not superior to other Nigerians. The tribunal also dismissed Peter Obi’s petition on alleged Tinubu’s drugs case adding that his claim is baseless.
Reacting to all these, Davido via his verified handle on X formerly called Twitter, posted a phrase “Nawa” making it known to all and sundry that he is not satisfied with the tribunal judgement.
Even though Davido in the past disclosed that he is not in support of any presidential candidate from APC, PDP or LP, however, he is well known for throwing his weight behind his uncle Ademola Adeleke, the PDP governorship candidate of Osun State.
The statement “Nawa” uttered by Davido shows that he is not in support of President Bola Tinubu as the president of Nigeria. See his tweet below;

linqrossi511: The Government have failed Us, the judiciary system have failed us too… What are the spiritual leaders doing e.g the big pastors. Are they so dumb that they can’t fight or stand for a better Nigeria. If they all come together as one the masses will follow. The youth need powerful motivation. This is where we need the likes of Davido, Wizkid and others to come out and fight for what is right and support the helpless people for the love we Nigerians have shown them in their career.
