Netizens react as Old tweet of Wizkid begging for MI Abaga’s attention resurfaces online again, hail Nigerian rappers

An old tweet of international award-winning singer, Wizkid, begging for Nigerian rap star, MI Abaga’s attention resurfaces online again after his comment about rapping.

Wizkid is arguably one of the best music artists not just in Nigeria, but Africa and by extension in the world as at today.

In a recent statement, Wizkid disclosed during an interview with 10 magazine that the genre of music, rap, is dead and boring.

The star revealed that most of the rap artistes do not show any improvement in the music genre.

The statement generated massive reactions as netizens and also the Nigerian rappers reacted to such utterance.

However, they dug out the 12 years old tweet of Wizkid begging for MI Abaga’s attention as he claimed to be an upcoming artist and also a big fan of the rap star.

It reads, “@MI_Abaga hello sir..my name is wizkid..nd am an upcoming artiste….I’ve met u b4 bt not sure u remb me..am a bigggg fan sir!..”
