A Nigerian lady identified as Arowo Saanu on twitter, has expressed worries over a little beggar, Fatima whom photographers sell her photos as portraits, makes money out of it but did not render any assistance to her whatsoever.
According to @arowosaanu who took to her social media handle to share the story, Fatima is one of the kids that begs in the street around Dugbe, Ibadan. She gave the exact location where the young beggar stays to ask for money.
She revealed that the little girl’s photos are mostly used as portraits by photographers which make money for them but it is so unfortunate that the little beggar has been given no dime out of the money they made.
She expressed concern about the little girl and asked if anyone who is interested in adopting her to take good care of her.
She said, “This is Fatima, she’s one of those kids that begs for money around Dugbe in Ibadan
What pains me is that a lot of photographers take pictures of her and make money off it without giving her a dime”.
“If you want to adopt or help her in any way she’s usually seen at Dugbe , cocoa mall entrance. There you can meet her guardian and families. I have done my bit ❤️&💡”. See her post below:
