Nollywood actors Cynthia Okereke, Clemson Cornell kidnappers demand N41m ransom

President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, claims that the $100,000 (N41.6 million) ransom demand has been made by the people that kidnapped Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel.

Recall that the two Nollywood actors were reported missing  on Friday, with their family members confirming that they had yet to return from a filming they went to at Ozalla Town in Enugu state.

The AGN confirmed that they had been abducted as it reads, “Two members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel were reportedly missing after their family members confirmed they didn’t come back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State.

Rollas had earlier implored actors to avoid filming in outskirt of cities without security.

As of when this report was filed, there are claims that a bank account belonging to Okereke had already been emptied of its funds.

Rollas, in a chat with TheCable Lifestyle on Saturday, said that it has been confirmed that the missing actors became victims of abduction.

He said the abductors are demanding $100,000 in ransom.

He said, “It’s a confirmed kidnap case. They have made contact and demanded for 100k dollars”.
