A tweet of popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido on Nollywood actresses of 11-years ago has resurfaced online and by extension sparked reaction from social media users.

On March 18, 2011, Davido in a post shared via his verified Twitter handle stated that the film industry known as the Nollywood is just a way for most Nolywood actresses to show off their bodies to rich men. The singer concluded that most of these actresses make more money while they engaged in horizontal tango with these men than acting which is their main profession.
Davido tweeted; “Nollywood is just a way for these actresses 2 advertise their goodies 2 rich men ….. Dey make more monii banging than acting #fact.”

However, Davido post has generated mixed reactions from netizens, while some supported his tweet noting that most of these female actress engaged in luxurious materials and way richer than their male counterparts others concluded that Davido said so because he doesn’t have anyone in the movie industry as he also accused of having four children from four babymamas.
