One call from Olamide and everything changed – Singer Asake reflects on his journey to stardom

Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade Asake professionally known as Asake in a recent post on social media reflect on his journey to stardom as he speaks on how Olamide changed his life. 

Today, August 18th Asake who is well known for his hit song “Sungba” captured the hearts of netizens as he took to his social media pages to share photo of his brand new luxury mansion accompanied with a Range Rover.

In the post, Asake speaks on how his life changed from being a person who used to hustle for bed space to a house owner expanding his base into real estate.

Recall in an interview with Cool FM few days ago, Asake speaks on how he used to text Olamide since 2020 by entering his DM but he didn’t reply. In the message, Asake said he used to remind the YBNL boss how he helped Fireboy, Chinko Ekun and others from Obafemi Awolowo University so he could help him as well.

In the interview, Asake revealed that his dream came true after he dropped ‘Omo Ope’. He said that Olamide just gave him a call and demanded that they meet and when he arrived, Baddo simply asked if he would like to join YBNL.

Recounting on his journey so far and all the success he has accomplished in the Nigerian music industry with his hit songs that include, PBUY, Mr Money, Baba God, Trabaye among others, Asake who has music deal with international record label, Empire tweeted on how Olamide changed his life with the call.
