Should we now stop smoking weed in our houses? – Singer Portable tackles NDLEA following the arrest of Zinoleesky, Mohbad (Video)

Fast-Rising Nigerian singer, Portable has reacted to the arrest of his colleagues, Zinoleesky and Mohbad during a midnight raid by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA).

NDLEA operatives stormed the singers’ residence in Lagos late Wednesday night in a raid for alleged drug peddlers.

A video making the rounds on social media shows the moment a fracas ensued after Zinoleesky and Mohbad were put in handcuffs.

NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement to The Cable on Thursday, said Cannabis and Molly were recovered by the operatives.

He said; “Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Bịara Market boys stay. Some quantities of Cannabis sativa and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car.

“Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males.”

Reacting to the development, Portable queried the agency and asked if citizens are no longer free to do as they please in their homes with regards to smoking marijuana.

He then went ahead to issue a threat to anyone who may nurse the desire to also try raiding his residence or to arrest him.
