ASUU is one of the trending conversations on the popular microblogging platform Twitter as popular Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema took to social media to express his dissatisfaction over the ongoing ASUU strike.
Recall Intel Region reported in January, 2022 that Rema gained admission into the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) to study Creative Arts, however since since the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) embarked on a strike over two months ago, the “Calm Down” crooner has been unable to see the four (4) walls of the University.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle to express displeasure on the ongoing strike, Rema urged ASUU to stop the strike so as to pursue his academic dreams and by extension sparked reactions from netizens.
“ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o, e don do nau!.”
