The wife of the ailing popular Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has reportedly offered to donate her kidney so as to save her husband.
A close relative of the family told TheCable that the star’s wife, Yetunde, vouched to be the kidney donor.
The insider said, “The wife is donating her kidney for him. All that is left now is to get the money needed for the surgery.”
Recall that the ‘Jaga jaga’ crooner was diagnosed with kidney failure as it was shared via Instagram by his manager, Myke Pam on 6th of July.
Pam noted that Abdulkareem will have a surgical operation at the end of July.
Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga who also confirmed the health issue of Abdulkareem, solicited help from well-meaning Nigerians on behalf of the singer.
A ‘GoFundMe’ account was opened for the star’s kidney transplant surgery.
Over 2 million naira has been gathered by fans to help with the treatment as the artist was placed on dialysis machine.
