According to the singer, listening to rap is tiring because the artists often make repetition of beats and flows.

Reacting to the statement, Nigerian rappers such as Blaqbonez, Oladips, MI Abaga, and many others expressed displeasure over the statement.

However,  Wizkid went harder on the Rapper as he took to his Snapchat story as he described those who are criticizing him over the ‘rap is dead’ comment’ as broke boys.

According to the ‘Ojulegba’ crooner, he was not talking about other upcoming rappers because they aren’t even rappers.

Erigga took to his official Twitter page as he questioned why he is attempting to kill other people’s dreams when his dream has come true.
