Wizkid becomes the most awarded African artist in BET history

Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Singer Wizkid, has just released a new record after his latest BET Awards win.

The singer just recently emerged as a category winner at the recently concluded Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards on Sunday, June 28.

For his contribution to Brown Skin Girl, a song featured on Beyonce’s The Lion King: The Gift album, the music star won the BET Award.

Following the new victory, Wizkid has now become the most awarded African artist in BET Awards history.

In 2012 he won the BET Best International Act: African Award. Also in 2017 Wizkid emerged winner of the same category.

Fans of the singer have now taken to social media to celebrate his win and again crown him as one of Africa’s biggest artiste.
