“Worst album ever” – Singer Burnaboy new album “I Told Them” sends mixed signal

@Olamide0fficial: Burna Boy’s new album is literally a response to internet trolls. It’s clear everything twitter people have been saying are getting under his skin 🥴.

@KinqKudos: This is actually Burna boy’s worst album since 2018. He put together 15 garbages and called it a body of work. The album lacks substance and proper ingredients. I rate it 4/10.

@obajemujnr: “I told them” by Burna just made me appreciate “timeless” more; the energy Davido injected in that album is absolutely unmatched. Burna Boy drifted from afrobeat to afro-sampling. Hopefully his fans enjoy Afro-repetition.

While the production quality might be commendable, it’s essential to highlight the glaring lack of depth and substance in the lyrical content. Music, especially from an artist of Burna Boy’s caliber, should evoke emotion, tell a story, or at the very least, convey a profound message. Unfortunately, about 90% of the tracks in this album felt superficial and lacked the depth one would expect.
