He took to a slum in Lagos where he was seen spraying children dollars.
The Lagos concert took place on Thursday at Eko Hotel and Suites will feature popular artists including Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun, DJ Obi, The Cavemen, Rema, Fave, and DJ Yin among others.
However, Rapper, Ycee wasn’t too pleased over the absence of rappers on the lineup.
Stating that his complaint wasn’t about him as he hasn’t put out rap music for quite a while, he called out the decision for organizers to host Rick Ross who is a rapper in Lagos and yet not include Nigerian rappers on the lineup.
According to him, this is one of the factors why Nigerian rappers are switching their sound and doing more of singing instead of rapping.
He tweeted; “Bruh this ain’t even about me cos I haven’t put out rap music in a while but how do you have a Rick Ross show in Nigeria and not have ONE SINGLE NIGERIAN RAPPER ON THE LINE UP??? And tomorrow you wanna come on twitter and ask why rappers are switching genres.”
