In the video, the officers took the musician along when they went to his house and seized his wife’s mobile phone.

Reacting to this, Seun Kuti who has been handcuffed expresses his utmost displeasure over the way the police searched and raided his house without his permission. He added that they are treating him like a terrorist.

iamyetundebakare:  These are the issues!!! Why will they collect his wife’s phone ?? Nigeria Police and Misplaced priorities be like 5 & 6 ? I can never forget the day they harassed me and my son ?.

seun_dreams:  Pls video them & focus so they don’t drop any incriminating items in the process??‍???‍?.

chy_muojindu_:  I no like how they are treating him. His tribe did not save him, his father’s legacy did not save him. Nigeria is happening to him just like it will happen to the rest of you bigots. We had an opportunity to fight for a president that will bring sanity but you all turned it to tribal war. This is a good one honestly.

pbanksdbeatmaker:  These is what you get when police officers are not scared of breaking the law. seun kuti wasn’t right for assaulting a police officer. But trust me his case for the police is go to be “let’s show these Nigerians nothing will happen even though we constantly breaking the law”. Guess why they are doing so ? They know the judiciary is compromised and they can get away with a lot. This is what we get as Nigerians who constantly support and encourage bad governance. Una never see anything yet. All of us must collect one way or the other from these mess we call a nation.
