Requirements:
  • Professor:

The candidate must be a Professor with a minimum of twenty (20) publications; five (5) of which should be offshore while (15) must be journal articles). The candidate must have supervised a minimum of one Ph.D. student or three Masters students. The Departments of Anatomy and Physiology require a degree in Medicine and registration with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria which will be an added advantage.

  • Reader/Associate Professor:

The candidate must be a Reader with a Ph.D. degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College and its equivalent in relevant field and evidence of outstanding and continuing achievement/teaching experience in a University. Fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national journals. Ability to supervise a minimum of one Masters or Ph.D. student.

  • Senior Lecturer:
    • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College and its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus six (6) years post qualification teaching and research experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of seven (7) publications in reputable journals with evidence of continuous research and ability to supervise graduate students.
    • Senior Lecturer (as applicable to medical Doctors)
      • MBBS plus possession of the final or part II of the relevant fellowship certificate FNMC/FWACS/FWACP and eight (8) reputable publications of national/international journal articles.
      • Ph.D. plus a registration with eight (8) reputable publications of national/international journal articles out of which six (6) must be in print.
  • Lecturer I:
    • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College and its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus three (3) years post qualification teaching and research experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of Four (4) publications in reputable journals with evidence of continuous research and ability to supervise graduate students
    • Lecturer I (as applicable to medical Doctors)
      • MBBS plus possession of the final or part II of the relevant fellowship of the National Post graduate Medical College of Nigeria and its equivalent.
  • Lecturer II:
    • A Ph.D. from a recognized University or Master’s degree plus two (2) Journal publications and evidence of Ph.D. registration, relevant professional registration is an added advantage.
    • M.B.B.S plus a minimum of three (3) years cognate teaching experience.
  • Assistant Lecturer: A good second class honours degree (not less than 2 class Lower) plus a Master’s Degree.
  • Graduate Assistant: A good honours Degree (First or Second class upper) from a recognized Institution and NYSC Certificate/Exception

  2. Candidate must possess a HND/B.Sc. in Hotel & Catering Management, Food Science /Technology or Home Economics from recognized Institution with a minimum of lower credit / 2nd class lower division plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate with minimum of 6 years working experience.
  3. A good university degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized institution plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
  4. Candidate must possess a good university degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized institution plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate with qualification for Town Planner II with 3 years post qualification cognate experience. A Master’s degree in relevant field plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
  5. A candidate with qualification for Town Planning Officer II with six (6) years post qualification cognate experience or A Master’s degree in relevant field plus 3 years’ experience.
  6. A good B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or any other qualification registerable with Council for the Registration of Builders in Nigeria (CORBON) plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
  7. Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Building, or any other qualification registerable with Council for the Registration of Builders in Nigeria (CORBON) plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate with three (3) years Post-qualification cognate experience. or A Masters in a relevant field registerable with CORBON.
  8. Candidates with qualification for Building Officer II with six (6) years post qualification cognate experience. Must be CORBON registered. Or Master’s degree plus three (3) years’ experience must be CORBON registered.
  9. Candidate must possess a good degree in Quantity Surveying or related subjects from a recognized University plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Or A pass in the final examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors/Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. In addition, must be registerable with the Quantity Surveying Regulation Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).
  10. Candidate possessing a good degree in Quantity Survey or a related subject from a recognized University plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Or A pass in the final examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors/Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. In addition, must be registerable with the Quantity Surveying Regulation Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) plus at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience. Or A Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying
  11. B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd class lower division plus NYSC discharge certificate /evidence of exemption with minimum of six (6)years Surveying experience and registered with NIQS/QSRBN. or A Masters in Quantity Surveying plus three (3) years cognate experience and must be NIQS/QSRBN registered.
  12. B.Sc. in Architecture from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate/ Evidence of Exemption. In addition, must be registerable with the Architecture Regulation Council of Nigeria(ARCON).
  13. Candidate must possess a good honours degree registerable with ARCON, NIA and a Master’s Degree in Architecture plus NYSC discharge
    or exemption certificate.
  14. Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. in Architecture and registered with ARCON plus 6 years cognate experience. or A Master’s Degree in Architecture plus 3 years cognate experience with ARCON registration.
  15. B. Sc /HND. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical /Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate, registerable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
  16. Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. /B.Tech. /HND in engineering or its equivalent qualification, registerable with COREN plus three (3) years post qualification experience.
    or A Master’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant field of Engineering registerable with (COREN) plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
  17. Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. in Biochemistry or  Microbiology from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Class Lower Division plus NYSC discharge
    or exemption certificate.
