Job Description:

  • The Front Desk Officer is required to sit at the company’s front office overseeing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
  • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  • Respond to incoming phone calls, take messages and redirect calls to the appropriate offices/department
  • Organize and maintain files and records; update when necessary.
  • Create and maintain updated documents and spreadsheets
  • Oversee sorting and distribution of incoming letters and packages.
  • Prepare outgoing letters (envelopes and packages)
  • Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, etc.
  • Record meeting minutes and dictations
  • Perform inventory of office supplies and order what is needed
  • Supervise cleaner and general cleanliness of the office

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND in any discipline from a reputable institution

Skills & Competencies:

  • Female
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Excellent written English
  • Good organizational skills

Account Officer

Job Description:

  • An Account Officer is responsible for the day to day accounting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciling accounts with various vendors account.
  • Organize and update financial records.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Compute, process and file payroll documents
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a first degree or formal training in Finance or Account
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounting role
  • Excellent organizing abilities.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Great numerical skills

Skills & Competencies:

  • Female
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office package and Peachtree accounting software

Contract Officer (Quantity Surveyor)

Job Description:

  • Contract officer is required to prepare tender documents and quotations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications and all contract documentation
  • Preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities considering the drawings and specifications
  • Preparation of reports on new work and work in progress for cost monitoring and control, and for decision making.
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Site measurement for variation & valuation
  • Valuing completed work and liaising with the Finance/Account for payments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Quantity Survey from a reputable institution or equivalent.
  • Project Management training and experience. Certification is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ work experience with techno commercial issues to include tendering, contract negotiation and vendor management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Female
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to lead a team to deliver great results
