Job Description:

Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and provide support in all cash management related activities in treasury
Principal Functions        

  • Develop and manage the Advance Payment and Bank Guarantee schedule
  • Verify charges and commissions/interest posted by the banks
  • Process and effect payments to third parties through the local and foreign banks
  • Capture all payments and receivables from the bank statement on the account system – ERP
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reconciliation reports 
  • Process all payment and dealer confirmations within the assigned timeline
  • Process Petty Cash transactions.
  • Carry out other assignment as instructed by Manager, Treasury Operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • First degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of one (1) year post NYSC Finance related experience.

Job Description:

Responsible for implementing the subscriber fraud management strategies in all customer products and services to achieve the objective of guarding the company’s revenue and assets against fraud leakages using preventive, detective, and corrective controls.
Principal Functions        
Tactical

  • Development of fraud management best practices for the company
  • Creation, implementation, and monitoring of single-source and reconciliation KPIs on the Integrated Fraud Management System
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues on the Circuit and Packet Switched Network; follow through to resolution and communicate to appropriate parties
  • Monitoring of system owners to ensure proper set up of system to minimize leakages.

Operational

  • To monitor refund abuse being carried out by customer care/back office team
  • Provide subscribers information and call records to regulatory and law enforcement bodies
  • This is to identify unauthorized credit note raised on post-paid account
  • To ensure that the amount quoted by post-paid operations as the balance on the post-paid account is the same as what is seen as the balance on the database
  • To monitor purged serials being refunded by the back-office team
  • To monitor fraudulent subscription of data
  • Carry out investigations of internal fraud, customer services infractions, etc.
  • Responsible for the daily operation of Fraud Management System (FMS); including monitoring of predefined Key Performance Indices (KPIs), alarms and resolution of alarms triggered.
  • Ensure proper implementation of requisite policies, processes, and procedures in line with industry best practices to minimize fraud.
  • Develop and establish practices and guidelines that guide Fraud detection strategies, KPIs, reporting requirements and templates.
  • Carry out FMS contingency/ capacity plans to guarantee 24/7 fraud coverage and minimize revenue loss from fraudulent activities.
  • Conduct fraud risk assessment for all new/ existing products/ services
  • Follow up with relevant units on all reported cases to ensure closure of the all identified fraud Incidents.
  • Documents and define SLA for interaction points with other relevant team- Credit control, IT, Technical, Audit, Legal departments etc.
  • Manage relationship between internal and external stakeholders, vendors, auditors, Legal team, forensic audit team and the law enforcement agencies.
  • Conceive, initiate, prioritize and lead the completion of initiatives that are fraud related.
  • Perform any other activity as assigned by the Manager, Subscriber Fraud.
Qualification and Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s/HND degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or any relevant discipline.
  • Relevant Professional Certifications(ACA, CISA, CRISC, OCA, OCP, OCM, CCNA etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of GSM network architecture
  • Minimum of 3 to 5yrs relevant work experience

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with:

Principal Functions        
Tactical

  • Provide strategy articulation of EMTS’s marketing communication strategy including strategic direction, policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Lead and direct internal creative services team to deliver on articulated brand positioning

Operational

  • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimise performance, morale and enhance productivity.
  • Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
  • Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the unit.
  • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director, Marketing Communication

Qualification and Requirement:
  • First degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or any relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • A Master’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communication, Advertising or relevant post graduate programme is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years work experience with at least 5 years in an advertising agency (or agencies), in addition to a minimum of 3 years in the telecoms industry.

  • Execute media plans for promotions, events/sponsorship and other marketing activities/ initiatives and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of campaigns via GRP, CPT, Reach/Frequency, Audience rating etc
  • Generate in-depth insights via clear and deep consumer needs understanding including   customer validation, customer persona creation etc

Ensure

  • Provide input to all media planning and monitoring contracts with vendors/media agencies as required and monitor/manage them to ensure adherence with service level agreements
  • Ensure GTM and media operations are in line with international best practice
  • Interpret customer analysis and media research as well as other marketing data for usable insights and turn into measurable impact
  • Recommend targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with media strategies including possible barter arrangements
  • Articulate and recommend customer relevant go-to-market vehicles suitable for specific product/service launch
  • Source in-country market, regional and global insights/ideas for competitive benchmarking and decision-making
  • Coordinate the development process for strategic media planning and buying across traditional (TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor) and non-traditional (Online, Mobile etc) media
  • Implement unit’s work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines
  • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimize performance, morale and enhance productivity
