Key Responsibilities:
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have
An advanced university degree in one of the following fields education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field required.
• A minimum of five years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education at the international level required.
• *A first university degree in a relevant field combined with two additional years of professional experience (seven years) may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
• Experience working with adolescent/youth development/Generation Unlimited desired.
• Experience in digital and alternate remote learning platform Generation Unlimited team with a focus on the school-to-school and community connectivity programme desired.
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
• Familiarity/ background with emergencies is considered an asset.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
