Job Description:
  • Co-ordinate the demand management process and be the custodian of the overall Demand plans and TM1 system
  • Manage Demand planning phase of monthly/annual “Integrated Business Planning process”, liaise with all parties to ensure a consensus forecast.
  • Identify and advise promptly abnormal demands situations, forecast accuracies and how to address any identified issues.
  • Work closely with the supply and distribution teams to ensure products availability in the right quantity at depots/location/customers in line with the consensus Demand or activity plans.
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities and communicate appropriately, coordinate products phase-in and phase-out plans
  • Provide background information for Budget and PFs build-up

Measurement/Performance Indicators

  • Target vs. Actual performance (KPIs)
  • Quality and timeliness of information and reporting

Internal & External Relationships:

  • Head of Channel Marketing
  • Marketing/Sales/Channel/Supply Chain/Finance/NPD/HR team
  • PZ Marketing & Sales network
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • First Degree in any discipline
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experiences: (What experience brings success to this role)

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs,
  • Has Field Sales management experience

Knowledge: (What does the person need to know)

  • Good knowledge of business objectives and priorities.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Planning process
  • Good analytical, evaluation, problem solving, planning, organizing and interpersonal skills

Job Description:
  • Implement brand strategy to grow and sustain brand performance and profitability.
  • Monitor, control and report brand performance through brands health indicators (NNS, GM, MC) and key consumer KPIs (market share, awareness, trial, attribute rating etc.) providing solutions to gaps.
  • Support the management of the NPD process for the brand within the TEC BU.
  • Support the development & execution of approved brand M&C plan within guidelines.
  • Understand & apply relevant external environment factors including consumer insights, competitor activity and other CBU activity (networks) for innovation development and brand plans.
  • Support Product Life Cycle Management including demand forecasting and minimizing residuals.
  • Effective execution of Trade Marketing plans
  • Participate actively in company-wide initiatives as required – e.g. Margin Improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience in Brand Management
  • Professional Qualification in Marketing, science or engineering is essential
  • IT savvy including the use of MS Office Suite of Applications
  • Self-driven and possess very high levels of energy, motivation, enthusiasm, drive, and resilience.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to understand and generate insight from data. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal and external customers.
  • Must be exceptional at business development with extensive consumer interaction
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
