Job Description:

To assist the Internal Auditor in ensuring the system of internal control is adequate to achieve management objectives in an efficient and effective manner, established procedures are being properly followed, assets are safeguarded and that resources are judiciously utilized, Management information is sound and adequate, risk management and analysis framework are developed and enhanced.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the Internal Auditor to undertake audit of various business areas as specified in the Internal Audit Annual Plan
  • Undertake assessments on the quality and effectiveness of the internal controls and risk management
  • Review accounting records and systems within the overall context of the organization’s internal control network;
  • Jointly review the level of compliance in respect of corporate policies, plans, procedures, guidelines, laws and regulations;
  • Follow-up on implementation of audit recommendations
  • Conduct spot check on agencies to ensure compliance with Internal Controls and binding agreements
  • Assist in preparation and conducting departmental quality assessment review
  • To conduct physical verification of all tangible assets of the organization and identify their locations;
  • Keeps abreast of Company policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions, and changes in local, state, and federal laws.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Internal Auditor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • First degree in accounting or related field
  • At least 1-2 years post NYSC experience in Auditing or Accounting
  • Cognate reporting experience 3. Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook (MS Office in general)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English language.
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent (proven) interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Processing transactions and posting as appropriate;
  • Providing the necessary support for the statutory annual audit, regulatory audit and tax audits by making relevant schedules and source documents available on time;
  • Ensuring that the PAYE, Pension, WHT and VAT are appropriately deducted and remitted;
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensures that controls put in place to safeguard the company’s asset are complied with
Qualification and Requirement:
  • Good analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to details;
  • A qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAN) or at the professional stage of the qualifying exams

Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

As a Customer Support Agent for the Lending team, you will be based in Lagos and working with our other customer success representatives, as well as other teams based in Paris & India. You will get to work within any of the following units: Email, Social media, Inbound – working a 24 hr shift, 7 days a week (but working only 5 days of the week).

Roles and Responsibilities

Your mission will be to:

  • Improve customer relationship management by taking the burden of service management from frontline customer support teams.
  • Resolve sophisticated problems for customers quickly and with the highest quality over the phone/email in a heavy volume environment.
  • Provide first-tier technical support services to FairMoney’s customers.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and drive them to resolution.
  • Work closely with team leads, supervisors and managers to ensure synergy and all-time customer satisfaction.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Contribute and share ideas to decrease the workload and improve the quality & speed of FairMoney customer support
  • Learn and master multiple systems (knowledge base, internal tools, contact management system)
Qualification and Requirement:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience (experience working in all customer service environment is an added advantage) in fintech, or any financial services sector
  • A key player in building a support team in a challenging growth environment
  • Positive and hard working attitude
  • Understand what does outstanding customer support look like and be ready to go the extra mile
  • Open to all modes of support (email, phone support)
  • Willing to work full time, including weekends and evenings (working on a rotational basis)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

For you as a Quality and Escalation Analyst at FairMoney here are your roles and responsibilities which is subject to change and can increase base on the company’s clientele and services rendered

  • Maintain and develop internal support and quality standards across all teams.
  • Assess support interactions based on internal standards
  • Analyze all customer service metrics (e.g. CSAT, FCR) and how the support team’s performance affects those KPIs
  • Create strategies to improve support KPIs
  • Map the need for training and onboarding programs and initiate these projects
  • Monitor customer service performance on the agent and team level
  • Contribute to the team culture in a positive manner.
  • Review and identify the root cause for all escalated service requests and use this information to improve continuously within service delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with other workgroup teams to train using processes and procedures based on historical experience

Job Description:

The Internal Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment through the development of internal policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation and monitoring compliance by all employees.

The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across of business processes and internal controls.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring internal control framework, including group policies and key risks in order to ensure that the group has adequate controls to prevent unintentional and intentional errors in financial reporting, processes and business operations
  • Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, Internal compliance procedures and controls and timeliness of documentation generation
  • Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls and efficiency
  • Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to business partners and senior management.
  • Evaluating SAP (Systems Applications, Products) audit trail.

  • Review Capex project briefs and compliance with procedures.
  • Credit control (Receivables, staff float outstanding)
  • Expenses management and control
  • Checking of Consumptions vs Bill of materials to detect and eliminate any shortages/pilferages
  • Checking of payroll such as overtime, Leave allowance, incentives e.t.c
Qualification and Requirement:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years banking experience in internal control or similar position
  • Master’s degree in accounting, economics or Finance preferred.
  • Professional Compliance Certification (ICAN, ACCA) preferred.
