Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Collection Supervisor to lead our collections team. The Collection Supervisor will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to effectively manage and recover outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.
- Continuously review and enhance collection processes to maximize recovery rates.
- Analyze customer data to identify patterns and trends in delinquent accounts.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the collections team to achieve targets and objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

Portfolio Management:

Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance for management.

Legal Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection.
- Ensure all collection practices are compliant with legal requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in collections management, preferably in a financial institution or fintech.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
