Job Description:
  • Basic Function – Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Foreman, the incumbent performs manual supply duties in the warehouse, unloads incoming supplies, office and household furniture and equipment.
  • Incumbent moves property from the receiving area to authorized storage area, confirms storage area with receiving supervisor.
  • Incumbent performs housekeeping duties in the storage areas to ensure a clean and safe environment, assist in conducting inventories.
  • S/he must ensure that all job activities and duties are performed in a responsible manner to avoid the creation of safety or health hazards.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School or received high school diploma is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year prior work experience in supply/warehouse section is required.

Job Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of warehouse storage and property handling practices is required. Must have good understanding of Nigeria roads and laws.

Evaluations:

  • This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.

Language:

  • Limited knowledge of English languages is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to perform moderately heavy work and make heavy lifts of at least 20kg with the ability to adhere to safety regulations. Must be tactful and be able to communicate with customers clearly.

  • The position supports the operations of the office of the International Narcotics & law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
  • The job holder will manage and monitor INL assistance to host government, implemented by international organizations and implementing partners, draft reports, talking points and be the main point of contact for program and administrative issues to support the Counter Narcotics (CN) Advisor.
  • The position will review resource requests and proposals, performs reporting, monitor and evaluate counter-narcotics and other rule of law/criminal justice programs and activities in the South of Nigeria.
  • The job holder will draft routine correspondence, schedule and plan meetings, organize and maintain files and the shared office calendar, among other duties.
  • The position holder will also serve as occasional money holder.

  • Two (2) years of University Studies is required.  

Experience:  

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience coordinating and managing programs/projects and maintaining a database within an international donor organization, private entity or government organization is required.

Job Knowledge:  

  • Thorough knowledge of Nigerian Law enforcement, rule of law or related sectors and organization is required.
