Adaobi took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, to share her remarkable journey and newfound lease on life.

She shared her joy with a series of tweets that captured the incredible relief and happiness she was experiencing following the successful surgery.
She wrote, “Guys. I just had my transplant surgery. After just 4 weeks on the transplant list. Do you know how insane that is?!?!?!?!? I had mentally prepared myself for 3 years. I am still in shock”.
