It’s better to say that many Nigerian students have move on with their lives, with no sign of ending over six-month-old ASUU strike.
A female Nigerian student, who is affected with the lingering strike, recently tied knot with the love of her life.
Jumping on the trending challenge on Tiktok, she revealed that the man, who got the wedding band on her finger, happened to be her housemate.
The newly-wed simply identified as Leemah, joined the ‘before and during ASUU strike’ challenge.
Leemah narrated how she and her man decided to make their relationship official after endlessly waiting for the strike to be called off.
She shared a video compilation that houses their relationship’s growth from their time together in school to when they were waiting for the strike to end at home, so they could complete their studies.
In a part of the video it showed the lovers at school prior to the strike, and another part showed them at their traditional wedding and registry.
