Nigerian vocal power-house, Simi advises parents against placing their children in boarding schools adding that she is never an advocate of of boarding school.

This reaction by the singer is coming following the death of Sylvester Junior Oromoni, a 12-year-old student of Dowen College who died after being beaten and fed chemicals by his senior colleagues following his refusal to join the cult.

According to her, the age children are sent to boarding schools is sensitive and that they need their parents at that time.
