A South African Lady named Thendo Sharon has called on women around the world, especially Africans, to put their husband first while compiling the bride price list.

According to her, she believes women should assist the proposed family by not making the husband broke after the wedding as bride price are meant to enrich parents and uncles in the family, not the husband.
She said if care is not taken, the couple can enter the marriage full of loans and debt caused by your own family.
In her words, she said: “Ladies, bride price was never meant to enrich your parents and your uncles who don’t even know your birthday.”

“If you don’t speak up for your man, you will enter a marriage full of loans and debt caused by your own family. Fight for your marriage!”, she explained
“Debts cause divorce and a very unhealthy home with a unhappy marriage”, she explained further.
Lots of reactions trailed her statement with one particular man expressing anger at the attitude of some family uncles who last saw the bride 23 years ago, only to come home and start demanding lots of money.
“Your uncle who last saw you 23 years ago will come, causing havoc..demanding a lot of money like WTF”
