There was a mild commotion as an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain made attempt to run away with money allegedly given to supporters who attended the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rally in Enugu on Wednesday.
Recall that ahead of the 2023 general elections, the APC presidential candidate stormed Enugu state yesterday, January 11, 2023, to canvass for votes.
He was received at the Enugu International Airport by Governors Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, and other APC chieftains in the South East.

Tinubu was accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Jagawa counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, alongside other APC national leaders.
The former Lagos state governor at the rally which was attended by thousands of people across the state promised to make Enugu the manufacturing hub of the country if elected.
In a video sighted online showed an angry crowd stopping a vehicle of the APC chieftain who attempted to run away from the rally venue.
One of the APC supporters at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, was heard lamenting about the refusal to pay them after the rally.
The had generated lots of reactions online from Nigerians who said the APC is known for renting crowds to attend their campaigns, adding that it is obvious such to occur.
