Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has told the Labour Party, All Progressives Congress (APC), and others that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the mother party of all others in the country.
Atiku while reacting to the tribunal judgement on Thursday, September 7, 2023, noted that the PDP birthed all political parties in Nigeria.
He urged PDP members to remain resilient, loyal and unwavering in their support of the party, while reminding the unpatriotic members and other parties that PDP birthed them.

“Let me finally give hope to some of the delusional or disappointed members of our party. I am one of the foundational members of this party, and I’m still strong,” Atiku said.
“This party [PDP] gave birth to any other party you can think of in this country today. Whether you are APC, or APM—whatever you call yourself—your mother is the PDP.
“What is most important for us is to make sure we remain loyal and faithful members of this historic party. This is the only party since the creation of Nigeria that is as old as it is today.
“We have a record to protect, promote, and foster. You may be fathers today, but you will always be proud of your grandfather, not to mention your great-grandfather. Why would you not want to be proud to be a member of the PDP? There’s absolutely no reason.
“I, therefore, want to urge our members to remain loyal and dedicated and foster national unity and cohesion,” he added.
Meanwhile, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Friday, said only God can help the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party, LP, counterpart, Peter Obi.
He explained that Atiku was playing his last politics while Obi could not become Nigeria’s president.
The popular prophet was reacting to the presidential election petition tribunal judgment which upheld the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, he revealed warning Atiku and Obi to be careful of ‘Emilokan’ syndrome based on what he saw in the spiritual realm but they failed to listen and took his warnings with levity.
“Only God can help Obi and Atiku politically. Atiku is playing his last politics and Peter Obi will not be Nigeria’s president even in the next dispensation, it won’t even go to the Igbos.
“When I warned Obi and Atiku about Emilokan, they took it with levity, they didn’t know it’s an advanced spiritual enchantment. They don’t take the word of God seriously and this led to their downfall,” he said.
Primate Ayodele further explained that it is only divine intervention that can help their case because no judge will be able to help them.
He said they misused the time they should have used to avoid going to court for mandate recovery by not listening to him.
“It is only divine intervention that can help them, no judge can help them, the truth is bitter, and they failed to hear it, they bombarded themselves with lies that suit their ego.
“They had everything needed to defeat the ruling party, I warned them, gave them instructions, but they didn’t listen. I warned them repeatedly about APC’s gimmicks, but they rejected every warning.
“If they had listened, it would have been an easy ride to victory during the election but now, it’s almost impossible to recover any mandate,” he said.
