BREAKING: Atiku’s aide, Abdullahi Nyoko dies in Dubai

Barrister Abdullahi Nyako, the Principal Personal Assistant (PA) to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, is dead.

According to reports, Nyako passed away in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the early hours of Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Nyako who was the Waziri Kojoli in Adamawa state died aged 64.

Nyako, Abdullahi Mohammed was born on November 11, 1958 in Kojoli, Jada Local Government of Adamawa State. He had his early education at Kojoli primary school between 1966 and 1971. From 1972 to 1977 without a break, he had his secondary education at Government Secondary School, Ganye, in the famous Sardauna Province.

He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, in June 1981. Had his Masters’Degree in Public Administration from the University of Jos.

He had a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Abuja and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007.

Reacting to his demise, Atiku wrote on his verified social media pages: “Barrister Abdullahi Nyako was more than an aide; he was family to me in every sense of the word. He served me with loyalty and diligence. He will be sorely missed.

“On behalf of my family, I convey my deepest condolences to the Abdullahi family and pray that the Almighty Allah will comfort and strengthen them. May Allah forgive his sins and grant him Aljannah Firdaus. Ameen.”
