The Brent crude oil in a trading session surges over $135 per barrel, as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, intensifies and oil buyers shunned barrels from one of the world’s largest exporters of crude and refined crude products.

The record increase in Price might not have a positive effect on Nigeria, despite being a top oil-producing country.

Since Russia began its invasion in Ukraine the United States and other European nations have been reluctant to sanction Russia’s oil and gas exports.

This is because the Western allies are concerned about the repercussions on Europe’s energy supply and skyrocketing oil and gasoline prices.
