A former Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Engineer Joseph Oyeyani Makoju, is dead.
Makoju, a former managing director of Dangote Cement, was reported to have died at a private hospital in Abuja on Monday.
He died at 73. Details of his death were not available at press time.
According to his Wikipdeia profile, Mojoku until his death, served as Honourary Adviser to Mr. President on Electric Power. He recently retired as the Group Managing Director/CEO of Dangote Cement Plc in 2018.
Before his contributions at Dangote Cement, he had served as Managing Director/CEO at the erstwhile National Electric Power Authority (NEPA)/Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and Nigeria’s national electricity utility.
