The parley is sequel to a recent one which was held in Bauchi. The next has been scheduled for Sokoto.
The PDP leaders are meeting over the PDP 2023 presidential ticket expected to be keenly contested.

A source that confirmed to intel Region disclosed that consultations are ongoing regarding the agreement of a consensus PDP flagbearer to face that of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general elections.
