The National Economic Council (NEC) meeting is being held at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently presiding over the second NEC meeting where the trending issues in the Nigerian economy will be deliberated upon.
The meeting, which kicked off a few minutes ago inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, has in attendance almost all the State Governors.
NEC is comprised of the 36 governors of the federation, Ministers in charge of finance, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, and Mele Kyari, among others.
The meeting is being held behind closed-door as such details are yet to be known as of press time.
