The Kaduna politician who has been vocal about insecurity issues in the North reacting to another attack on an Abuja-Kaduna bound train carried out by suspected bandits said that it is no longer safe to enter the north through Kaduna either road or rail.
The train which was attacked by bandits has over 950 passengers on board where six people were reportedly killed, while others sustained gunshot injuries.
Sheu Sani said concerned authorities, especially in Northern Nigeria should tackle banditry and kidnapping affecting the lives and properties of people in the region by creating the North-Western Security Network (NWSN) which will assist police, other security agencies and traditional rulers in combating terrorism, banditry, armed robbery, kidnapping and the likes as obtainable in Southern Nigeria with operation Amotekun.
