Don’t delete our app, Twitter pleads with Nigerians

Following the indefinite ban of Twitter in Nigeria by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Twitter has pleaded with Nigerians to keep the app on as they are working to restore access to the platform.

Nigerian banned twitter following accusations by the Government that the use of the platform is capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

Reacting to the ban which took effect mostly on Saturday June 5, 2021, twitter says it is concerned about the development as they believe their business is protected by the human right law that allows freedom of speech.
