A female officer of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has been reportedly whisked away by an unidentified driver during a stop and search.
The details of the incident remain sketchy, but the popular account has it that the driver might have committed an infraction which led to the female police officer attempting to pull him over.
According to an account on social media, the driver perhaps resisted which apparently leading to the officer forcibly entering the vehicle.

A clip of the incident shows the distraught officer crying out loud for help as the driver spurns her demands to stop.
The development has seems to reach the police who said the driver will be investigated for kidnapping and assault on enforcement officer on duty.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command wrote on his twitter account that; “Irrespective, I repeat, irrespective of whatever the police officer must have done (un)professionally, kidnapping anyone, especially a law enforcement officer on duty, is a felony.
He also confirmed that investigation has commenced. “This man is already a suspect. Investigation has commenced,” he added.
