#EndSARS: Mesut Ozil joins Nigerians in support against brutal killings

 Mesut Ozil of Arsenal Football Club have lent his voice to the ongoing #ENDSARS protest.

The #ENDSARS campaign according to the BBCAfrica was the most trending topic on social media in the world on Friday, October 9, 2020, as entertainment and sports personalities joined the movement using the hashtag to advance the conversations against police brutality in Nigeria.

As Nigerian youths took to the streets to press home their demands, the Arsenal midfielder joined the protest in a tweet on his page, Ozil tweeted; “Horrible to hear what’s been going on in Nigeria. Let’s make this a trending topic everywhere

Other footballer who have joined the protests are Anotonio Rudiger, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori of Chelsea Football Club two of which are Nigeria descent.
