The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has suspended two top officials for approving the ‘All Eyes on Judiciary’ billboard advert in Abuja.
The Director General of ARCON made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
According to the statement, the affected officials are the Director and Deputy Director Regulations of the council.

The DG in the statement said that the advert is clear blackmail against the Nigerian Judiciary and the Honourable Justices of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
He added that the advert could instigate public unrest and breach of public peace.
The billboard which was sponsored by Diaspora’s For Good Governance tagged, “ALL Eyes on the Judiciary”, is coming amid anxiety as Nigerians await the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
There have also been speculations which on different occasions have been denied that the judges are trying to keep President Tinubu in office despite alleged obvious reasons to rule him out of office.
