President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently meeting with Abdulsalami Abubakar, former military head of state, at the presidential villa, Abuja.
In a video of Abdulsalami’s arrival shared by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the president was on hand to receive him as he alighted from his vehicle.
Both leaders exchanged banter alongside their aides after which they moved to the president’s office for a meeting.

The meeting is coming after Tinubu had met Former President Goodluck Jonathan at the villa.
Jonathan after the meeting said he met with Tinubu to brief him about the planned constitutional referendum in Mali.
